Finally got my red leather interior

Postby Tr1ckstaG7 » 24 Oct 2009 10:55

Took a little while, but managed to source a set of 'brand new' red leathers from a very generous member over on CCUK :)

I've managed to fit the rears & am hoping to get the fronts done this weekend (just not looking forward to disconnecting the battery & removing
the side airbags...

Here are a few snaps of the rears...

Whats come out...

& whats gone back in...

Cheers guys...

Managed to fit the front passenger covers yesterday, but have run into a problem with the drivers side. One of the 14mm rail bolts
won't budge & its started to round off  Not a happy chappy!! I now have to drive around with 3/4 of the interior finished &
worst of all....it's my darn seat that i can't complete :banghead:

Gonna see if the garage can undo it with their airgun, unless anyone has any ideas?

Its in a really fiddly place too, so can't get a ring spanner on it, only a socket

Cheers dude....

I managed to get it off :applause:

Removed the other 3 bolts & hinged the seat up & down a few times on the rails. It moved the bolt just
enough to allow the socket to bite the last remaining bit of the bolt & loosen it...Can finally fit the last
cover on now 'WOOT WOOT'
